David Bellamy Conservation Awards

As part of the David Bellamy Conservation Award, this year we took on the “Pollinator Patch” challenge.

We are please to say we have received a letter from Rufus Bellamy confirming that we have completed the challenge. Rufus Bellamy has taken on the work from his late father David, continuing the work of the David Bellamy Awards.

To achieve the award, amongst other wildlife projects we do, we have improved our “Bee Garden” situated on the park. This included more bee friendly planting to add to the existing plants and two “Bee Hotels” were put into the garden.

Have a look at our Facebook page to see photos of the garden and read the letter sent to congratulate us from Rufus Bellamy or even better see the garden in person while here at St Margaret’s.
